The Dragon's Tail
Or the Madcap Misadventure of Missing Magic |

Commissioned by Stone Soup Theatre to be a fun production for 16-18 actors
that can be done in any space with very little technical requirements. This is a fantastical tale about class clowns, a lost dragon tail and a very grumpy troll. With great physical comedy and every greater silliness, eight children are transported to a strange and new land where they encounter some magical, mystical and downright odd characters. It's all about a simple magical mistake, but can this crowd of wizards, trolls, fairies and middle school children solve it in time? |

Sir Arthur Flippenhaven's Night of Classic Fairy Tales
|
![]() |
|
Commissioned this year by Stone Soup Theatre as a follow-up to the popular "The Complete Works of the Sisters Grime."
Sir Alfred Flippenhaven and his slightly unusual sisters decide to put a play. But none of them have done any theatre before. And to make matters worse, they hired a group of second rate actors, some who seem to be paying more attention to the audiences' wallets then their scripts. All the Flippenhaven's want to do is produce some classic fairy tales, but instead they have a fish who is stealing, a broken glass slipper and Rumpelstiltskin doesn't seem to know when his entrance is! |

Here are a few of the scripts I am currently working on.
• A script about a young Elizabethan woman who runs off to join a theatre company and the knight her father hires to find her. As the knight tracks the young actress down he, and the audience, learns more than he bargined for about how theatre is created.(Cast size of 15-20, intended for grades 6th-12th) • The year is 1900, and two distant cousins of the famous Phileas Fogg are in a contest for his riches. Like him, they must try to make it around the world as quickly as possible but they are not racing against a clock, but each other. As the two travel they run into trouble and adventure around the globe. (Large Cast, intended for grades 4th -8th) |
